The American Indians were the first inhabitants of Etangs du Moulin. In 2008, the tribes spread across the territory but soon had to abandon their land to the new settlers and regrouped in the Indian reservation: The Erwan's Tepee Camp |

Village Rules (read carefully):
comfort for all! The Indian theme we chose for
our accommodation aims to offer you a very different setting allying
the natural
environment with simplicity through the fundamental values of daily
life. The
choice of Tepees is a deliberate one and reflects our own lifestyle.
With five
children of our own, we try to bring them in a way that makes them
aware of the
rules of everyday life. We hope to share with you the happiness that
our life brings
to our tribe day to day. Here are a few simple
rules designed to ensure that everyone enjoys the very special stay
they hoped
to find at Etangs du Moulin. - respect the environment: no motor
vehicles, including motor bikes are allowed in the village. The Indians just had their horses and their
legs to
carry their baggage and their tents. There is a car park by the Saloon.
We can
offer a shuttle service to carry your baggage to your Tepee. Guests
are asked to sort
their waste. - respect for
others and life in the community as from 10:30 pm, the park must be quiet. The village is not a place for loud partying.
Audio
equipment, including radios are not allowed. Any parties should be
organised in
the simplest possible manner. If we do not feel that
requested conditions
do not meet our requirements, we reserve the right to refuse a booking.
For a
birthday, the minimum flat rate for a booking for the whole village is
465 €. We provide a large barbecue for
your camp fires and grills, a cooking area and a rainy weather shelter.
Please
note that we are very watchful about irresponsible drinking. It is true
that
the Indians smoked the peace pipe, but they always had their heads
firmly on
their shoulders. Whenever too much alcohol is around, things can
quickly get
out of hand and we reserve the right to ask any guests who do not
respect the
environment or their neighbours to leave the site. Living as a community is not
always easy but with a little common sense and good manners you are
sure to
enjoy the benefits that chance encounters can bring. Bond are formed
and new
tribes born. Tribes arrange to return to the village and recreate their
bonds
around the fire. The Indian way of life is
close to nature. We provide a little extra comfort in the form of real
beds
with mattresses. All our tepees have wooden floors. Simplicity
therefore means
listening and observing the place you are staying. Agnès & Sébastien
