Michel and Jeannine are two spirits you are sure to meet at the Etangs du Moulin. The secret of the soul, the serenity and the relaxed mood of life in the park lies in the energy and dedication that Michel (my dad) has put into it for over 40 years, making the park, his park, the peaceful place of his dreams. Today, at 73, Michel will enjoy nothing more than to reminisce about his pioneering spadework, his love of history, especially that of the Premonstratensian monks (the White Friars). So take the time to powwow with him: 40 years is a long time and what better, more restful way is there to spend a little time with a beer, by one of his banana trees?.... One thing is sure: if his late wife Jeannine (my mum), could hear him, she could only be proud, because it was through her that this magic place came into being in 1970: the same year as me!
