Picardy’s Wild West was originally a region in the west of France. In the 19th century, it gradually redefined itself, as the population moved inland setting up new colonies in the Saint Gobain Valley. The settlers called it the Conquest of the West of the Coasts of Picardy. The society that developed in the Far West was unusually cosmopolitan, drawing people from different origins and backgrounds. In the Etangs du Moulin the original inhabitants of the New World, the Indians, live in a camp of tepees, and the pioneers who came to set up the park at Etangs du Moulin live in their covered wagons in a decor of winding, wooded valleys where it is so good to get away from the modern world.SUZY, les Etangs du Moulin Between Soissons & Laon Easy to find, and only 2.5hours drive from Calais the complex is situated near to Laon, and is only 15-20 minutes from junction 12 of the A26, between the small towns of Saint Gobain and Anizy Le Chateau 00(33)323809286 |
