	Since the 1930s, seaside holiday resorts on the Mediterranean, Atlantic and Pacific coasts became overcrowded and prices soared. It was the start of the great migration from the western coasts of Picardy towards the wild inland country that stretches from the Mediterranean to the north of France. The pioneers were mostly people in search of authenticity, the natural way of life and local traditions. They left in thousands, in convoys of motorized wagons, following the tracks opened up for them by the natives. As the new millennium dawned they finally settled in the great valleys in the centre, choosing the forest of Saint Gobain in the quiet landscapes of the Aisne.

Children and grown-up children alike will love the spirit of adventure they embody.
	All our covered wagons are equipped with a shower, a lavatory, a washbasin, electric heating, and a small kitchen with a microwave. Extra: beds made up and towels We have a total of 5 covered wagons in our first pioneer camp: - 4 wagons that each sleep 5, 1 double bed (140 X 190 cm) and 3 bunk beds (80 X 190 cm). - 1 wagon specially designed with facilities for the handicapped including two double beds	Choose your wagon, cowboy!
